:: Swachh Bharat Mission by Foreign Service Institute (FSI) :::
At the call of the Prime Minister of India, Foreign Service Institute (FSI) joined the Swachh Bharat Mission. Not being content to just limit ourselves to cleanliness drive at the Institute, FSI looked at our surroundings and decided to include the vicinity of Ber Sarai where FSI is located.
To jointly discuss the move forward, a meeting was convened at FSI today in which all stakeholders from the neighbourhood of Ber Sarai were invited. Many of them participated including those from Ber Sarai Merchants Association, Ber Sarai DDA Residential Welfare Association, ISTM (Institute of Secretariat Training and Management), National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Vaikunthnath Temple, as also prominent NGOs like Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, Chintan and Manavata Parivar. The meeting decided to form a coordination committee of all concerned to regularly draw a program of Swachchhata Abhiyaan with the area of Ber Sarai in mind. The next cleanliness drive is scheduled for15 November 2014.
